This unique free expedition for Veterans plus a guest is a Labor Day Weekend (Aug. 30 - Sept 2) expedition to Northern New Mexico. We will experience some of the best trout, pike, and smallmouth bass fishing in the western United States while boating Navajo State Park and fly fishing on the San Juan River. The San Juan is considered one of the best fishing rivers in the world. We will be camping Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights under the stars in a large group camping area. The camping area does have running water, electricity, and restrooms/showers. There is a little room for trailers/campers (contact us if you plan on bring a camper or trailer) and lots of space for tents.
The Patriot Anglers covers meals (Friday night through Sunday morning), bait and tackle, camping, and park fees. Please be prepared to either carpool down or provide your own transportation to Navajo Lake.
Please be firm in your commitment as last minute cancellations are difficult to refill and may take slots from veterans that would be willing to attend.
